Student Employment Opportunities Video
A Video discussing learning opportunities, experiences and memorable moments from students who worked for the Ontario Government in the summer of 2015.

This summer I was asked to create a video where I interviewed the summer students of The Child Parent Resource Institute to ask them what their experience was like working for the summer. They covered topics of their positions for the summer, what they learned the most about mental health, and their favourite memory from the summer. I filmed, edited and directed this video.
Communication
The most tedious process of creating this video was organizing the interview questions and then discussing them with the interviewees for this video. I was able to see my strengths in communicating come alive, as I was able to at first converse with each person in the video, making them comfortable. Overall, the message that my boss wanted delivered in the film was portrayed and each interview comes across very natural.
Adaptability
While working on this video I was still working on other projects that also had strict deadlines. After planning the production schedule there were multiple times when there would be last minute conflicts for either the interviewees or myself. Creating this video really allowed me to navigate change with a can do it attitude. I am really proud of how the video turned out and I learned a great deal about rescheduling and not allowing minor road bumps to cause stress.
